Image Deconstruction

This image for me represents hesitant. I think the way her arms are positioned behind her body gives me that uncertain feel. Hesitant means that you’re unsure, uncertain or doubtful. All this meanings can be linked here.

In the picture everything except her arms are covered with cloth. This leaves arm to feel exposed; it becomes center of the attention. With the help of that setting the eyes are straight away directed towards her arms. If you look even more in depth some parts of her upper body and lower body are in blur. However the colours are harmonising with the skin colour and it's surrounding. The skin has a fading light pale colour whereas the colour of her outfit is really bright and bold; these colours contrast really well together. She might be in this situation because maybe she is unsure of something/someone else. The only flesh we see of her body is her arms; most of her body is covered and other are not in the picture. This makes it even interesting on why the arms are the only thing we see of hers in skin/flesh.

It maybe because that she was playing some kind of game with someone else; the rules of the game might involve something to with the arms, thus the reason she's hiding it behind her body. There is totally another story behind why her hands are in such gesture. The way her hands are structured; it shows insecurity/nervousness. Theres a lot you could tell just from her hands. The fact that the other body parts not present makes it even more harder to read her. She might hiding it from someone who is trying to get hold of her hands. She is sitting down so maybe she is playing a game that is to do with guessing. I like how this picture makes you contemplate not just on the hands but how the body is covering most of the frame, why is she sitting down etc.

My World View

Everything is changeable because as time passes people will learn things that will change their perspective. Eventually along the path thoughts will be altered and views will be changed. Nothing can ever stay/remain the same; both physically and mentally. I support Heraclitus view on change and flow. He said that life is like a river; I totally agree with him. Like river humans are constantly flowing no matter the problem we try to move past it.
We as beings change even in atomic levels not just on outside or in thoughts. Like Anaxagoras said everything is in everything. There are tiny parts that makes us who we are in everything, may it be living or non living. For example if a living being dies in the forest in due time it starts to become one with the land and the things that was in that animal passes onto the land itself providing for the plants and others. "True knowledge exists in knowing that you nothing". Socrates used a method of questioning others and coming to a conclusion upon their answers. So he would first hear others views and act upon it. I may have a fixed opinion on certain topic but if I discuss it with other person it will open my opinion or even change it.
If we try we can accomplish anything with hard work and dedication. Plato believed that this world is full of unevenness, imperfections etc and there is an perfect world beyond our physical world. This is not true. Many of us have accomplished a lot. These things aren't rules we have/must follow we can change it; we can move past it. Happiness simply doesn't come from material things, it may for a while but it certainly won't affect you in long term. Happiness from your loved ones will last forever and have more of an impact in your life. Not everyone has same way of becoming happy. You have to find what makes you happy, it may come from doing something you love or spending time with your loved ones. We need to stop worrying about material things.
